GlobalLogic Ukraine is looking for Configuration Management Engineer on the full time basis in our Kyiv office.
Required skills:
• Highly experienced in Linux and/or UNIX (Solaris, AIX) system administration
• Working knowledge of Windows system administration
• Expert in at least one of the following scripting languages (shell, python, perl)
• Experience in installing and configuring database systems (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Sybase ASE)
• Experience in installing and configuring application servers (WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, IIS, Apache)
• Solid experience in the use and administration of SVN and ideally Perforce
• Working knowledge of IP Networking protocols and technologies
• Works well in a team and is highly responsive to the needs of the team
• Strong communicator - both oral and written English
• Able to plan own work and meet targets with minimal supervision
• High level of energy, enthusiasm and desire to learn. Results driven attitude.
Job Responsibilities:
• Actively manage the test system infrastructure to ensure maximum availability for the Knowledge Team
• Engage with the Knowledge team on an on-going basis to install and configure software on the test systems for the use of the Knowledge Engineers
• Take ownership of the BMC Atrium Discovery TKU build process
• Assist in maintaining the BMC Atrium Discovery group development servers
• Analyze and overhaul the current test system infrastructure introducing change tracking
• Work with the core Atrium Discovery Team build system owner on making the TKU build system more automated and more closely aligned with the BMC Atrium Discovery build system
• Plan for and enable migration of TKU SVN repository to Perforce source control system
